Kelly Nano-Miranda
is a Peruvian-American, photographer from the East End of Long Island. She received a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.

Born to immigrant parents, she's interested in the inaccessibility of photography and video. By exploring the places and sounds associated with the alienation of latino immigrants to the US, she hopes to uncover what creates visual disorientation or understanding. The term Americanization is what pushes her to photograph with tenderness, affection, but also discomfort.

She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
